The Schlumpf High Speed Drive is the model of elegant simplicity. The High Speed Drive eliminates the front derailleur and the double chain ring. Each gear is evenly stepped(no overlapping or redundant gears). It has a single chain ring (27 tooth) with an internal gear. You cannot add additional chainrings to this product. The High Speed Drive has a standard gear that is a 1:1 ratio and an "overdrive" gear that features a 2.5:1 gear ratio. Click on the gear range link for a handy comparison chart. This Promax brake lever set includes a locking brake lever for BOTH brakes. Used as a parking brake, just press the button and you won't have to worry about your trike rolling away. No more fiddling with a Velcro strap to keep the brake engaged. These are the same OEM equipped brakes you will find standard on most current trike models. To set the parking brake, just squeeze the brake lever, press the button and release the lever.
